Supported by research and inspired by Character Lab’s Student Thriving Index, Check-In Survey enables schools to quickly evaluate student attitudes about their emotional well-being, academic engagement, and fairness and belonging in their school community. The survey enables schools to monitor progress over time, fosters a supportive student growth tool, and offers the option to include additional statements tailored to their students and the school community.

Grades 3-12

The survey asks students to rate their agreement with 15 statements, each tied to one of three components: fairness and belonging, emotional well-being, and academic engagement. The student will also rate their agreement with the additional statements prewritten by your school.

The brief online survey is untimed and quick to administer. It takes less than 15 minutes for students to complete and can be administered multiple times throughout the school year.
